 Survived 40 teens at a pool party! Feb 25, 2010
I organized a recent indoor pool party at our school. We had 40 teenagers coming and I needed 2 boats that could withstand the abuse that they were going to get.
The boats and the oars came out without any problems whatsoever. If the boats and oars can survive 40 teenagers jumping on them and racing them, I am sure they could survive anything! They are very well made and the material is very thick and sturdy.
The 2 man boats fit two teens comfortably and did not tip over at all.
Some of the moms were so impressed they asked where I got them so they could buy them for their pools and vacation homes at the lake or shore.
I purchased these from Backstore and they shipped promplty with no problems.
I am thrilled with this purchase!

I purchase rafts to sample remote lakes and ponds. The Challenger rafts can puncture on sticks and rocks very easily when coming back to shore. They can also blow out if overinflated. They don't work well at all in windy conditions. The choice of affordable usable rafts to be used on ponds is limited. This raft is better than most in this price range. The provided pump is inadequate and a bellows style pump works the best.

Product was defective out of the box not holding air, vendor Vitalityweb Backsport Health Products told me they sell this item as is and refused to replace the defective product. They directed me to an Intex customer support number that never is answered. Vitalityweb Backsport Health Products then ignored my subsequent emails to address the issue. I would strongly encourage prospective customers of Vitalityweb Backsport Health Products to take their business to a more responsible online vendor.
Solid raft. Aug 14, 2009
I've had the raft now for a month and the kids have been jumping in and out of it (along with dumping each other) and it has taken the abuse. Happy with the purchase so far.

This boat worked out great for my four year old when we did a tubing trip on the river.
