Coleman Portable Boat Oars Aug 06, 2009 I ordered these boat oars for my teenage sons to use with their inflatable rafts. Tremendous value and quality. They are exactly what they needed to navigate in our river.
Too cheap therefoe easy to break Feb 24, 2009 Already broke one, they are cheap so i can't expect a lot. I recommend spending a little more for better ones.

Good for the price Feb 05, 2009 These oars are essential for any small raft or boat you buy. They're cheap and expendable, and work pretty well. They are a bit on the short side, but not to the point that they are useless. I found the oar lock mechanism hard to use. The oars do float, but they also can get water stuck inside them. I'm not sure if this will eventually make them sink, but it's something to be aware of. So far, they're durable and perform well.
Broke During First Use Aug 06, 2008 I had low expectations when I first bought these oars, but I expected them to last longer than what they did. I took a casual trip around a local lake and the connecting piece on one of the oars cracked within the first twenty minutes. These were basically a complete waste of money since now I must buy a more expensive pair on top of this one to replace that one. Cheap price but very cheap quality also.
You Get What You Pay For Jul 17, 2008 When you put them together ensure as much of the thread on the rod end as possible is in the fastner or it will brake more easily. The oars are very small and make it difficult to propel or steer larger rafts. Price may be worth the work.
