4Family Review of Intex 5  Jul 20, 2010
Let me start off by saying I am VERY particular about the things I buy.
We bot this raft for family enjoyment. We have a family of 5 [children are 5(twins), and 8] and a dog. We had PLENTY of room for all of us. The kids loved jumping out of the raft and into the lake!
For starters this seems to be solid construction - no noticeable leaks...yet. I would recommend an electric pump of some sort; that's what I used.
I also got everything to fit into the original bag, BUT my electric pump also SUCKS OUT the air! Very convenient and highly recommended.
Getting used to rowing was a challenge, but by the end of the day I was rowing pretty effortlessly...with the oars provided.
We are taking it down a river this weekend...a two and a half hour trek, so I will see how it handles. As for lake use, it was great! I had MULTIPLE people comment on how large and nice it seemed.
I would definitely recommend this unit for the price of under a $150.00! To me this is a great value!
Hope this helps!

5great product  Jul 16, 2010
i order this item from 7th avenue store and it was amazing the service. i order it at 3 pm on a wednesday expected delivery time was on tuesday. my surprise was that I received it a day later i place my order. I received it on thursday afternoon!!!!!!!!! the only thing is that you need to get a better pump because the manual pump is not suitable to air this great boat. specially if u are in a rush and crazy to go out and use it!

it looks very good spacious havent tested it i got it today ! this is the very first review i actually write cuz i was totally impressed. i suggest you if u wanna buy a boat to get this one because it not cheap nor to expensive and hopefully last long as it looks like.

1More holes than my relationship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  May 15, 2010
This boat came with a hole upon receiving. No problem we thought....Everytime we took the boat out fishing, three more holes came to the party. Currently, we are in our 2nd month of fishing and we have accumulated 18 holes. The holes seem to be at the seams, which is not easy to create a solid patch. We have to purchase glue each week, and repair our already repaired holes. We have never written a comment about anything, never had a reason until now. We are giving the raft away at our next white elephant party and are currently shopping for a new raft.

5Awesome value for the money!  May 05, 2010
Bought this raft last year and used it several times during last summer. My two kids enjoyed spending time in the lake on this raft. I've a Motorguide Trolling motor w/Marine Battery and it lasts for several hours! Looking forward to taking the kids to the lake this summer. It's not easy to inflate this raft with the manual pump it comes with. Get a rechargeable Coleman Airpump and you can get going in under 20 minutes. It's relatively cheap and environmentally friendly way of cruising in the lake.

4heading to spring river  Apr 22, 2010
look's like it will do the trick for floating down spring river in arkansas just fine. well equipped with built in rod holder's and seat's that fasten down to keep them fom shifting around on you. only took about 10 min's with a low velocity air pump to inflate and mine has been inflated for over 2 week's now just to check for leak's and to see how big it really was. well worth the price especially concidering how much it cost's just to rent a raft for a one day float, about the same as the price of this one, and i plan on using mine for at least 9-10 day's every day.
