4Great entry level boat for rivers!  Jul 28, 2010
I read all the other reviews of this boat on Amazon and decided to go for it. Other places online were about 169 dollars, amazon was around 93! Great price! I got the boat, everything seemed to be there, all brand new, nothing was wrong with the shipping. The boat seems very sturdy and made of some pretty heavy duty rubber, not like the 20 dollar rafts from Walmart or Target. This is a higher quality boat by far! The paddles I thought were pretty decent, I saw the plastic connecting piece that some complain about but had no issues with it. The paddles worked great. The two included seats are nice, but no backrests or anything. I sat on the pontoon on the back of the boat actually as we floated down the Merced River in Yosemite. River is pretty calm, all Class I with MAYBE a Class II. I would say this boat is fine in up to Class II, you would have to decide if it was good for a Class III. Again, this is not a 1000 dollar whitewater boat. Its great for floating down calmer rivers. We fit two adults, and I think there could have been room for even one more (it is a 3 person boat afterall) but 2 was comfortable. While floating, we even ran over a small rock exposed in the water and had to wiggle around to get over it. The raft seemed to sustain NO damage! Tough raft! Anyways, I'm glad I got this boat, and for the price, it can't be beat! Heavy duty! I'm a happy customer!

5Tough boat, great for calm water and mild rapids.  Jul 27, 2010
I bought this boat after reading all the favorable reviews. I have never owned an inflatable boat.
The material I would rate as fairly heavy duty. Construction is excellent. Instructions are good. Oars are acceptable for calm to mildly rapid water. The included pump can fill all three chambers within 10-15 minutes.
We took it on a river float two days after we got it. I was impressed. It doesn't track the greatest, but roll stability was excellent. We got sideways over a mild rapid with some whitewater (not on purpose), and not once did I feel like it was going over. We scraped over some rocks on the way---I saw no visible damage. The material is strong.
I haven't much to compare it to, but I felt safe in it. My wife isn't a great swimmer yet, and yet I felt comfortable with her in it. I may replace the oars if they break, but for now I'm going to use them. I'm considering a larger boat (the Mariner) by the same company. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to a friend.

5awesome  Jul 23, 2010
Plenty of room for my husband and me. We were fishing with out tangling our lines. I suggest a trolling moter to go with it.

4Floatin  Jul 20, 2010
Blew up easy with airhead pump and held air,had out only once now on lake but performed just fine,I put on the motor mount with a 45lb thrust Minn Kota and she cruised along good, hit that 5th gear and the back drops hard and starts making wake, you can sit on the edge no problem and water will not come in,I weigh about 205,room for 2 people plus a few things or 1 child instead, glad I got this instead of one of the lake ones.

5Perfect...Just what we needed! Relaxing with the sea turtles!  Jul 16, 2010
Bought this to take out in the ocean here in Hawaii. We get to beaches we never could before! Added motor mount and Endura 34 trolling motor...can't beat the price! Wife and dog love it. She won't let me cruise on 5 speed, "too fast"! Considering a second with a stronger motor for when guests visit and my personal excursions! Watersnake® Venom SWET 54 lb. Thrust 42" Shaft 12V Trolling Motor would be my upgrade. Hand pump allows me to fill completely in five minutes. Have not used electric pump I bought for it once! Very Sturdy and more room when we leave inner seat cushions out(add one cooler). One trip in the ocean paid for itself. Walmart sells actual Trolling Motor $75.00 and quick charger/maintainer for $20.00. Aluminum oars are professional grade and boat is truly much nicer than expected.
