Inappropriately Sized Jul 26, 2010 Ordered my Arroyo shoes in a size 12. After trying them on I will need a size 11 with this particular pair. Also I placed an order for charcoal, but received some bright green color. Company I ordered from gave me no problems with the return, and got right on top of sending me the shipping labels.
Keen Hiking Shoes Jul 19, 2010 This product was recommended to us by a friend. We found a better price on Amazon versus the product's web site. The shoes arrived quickly and my husband has been wearing them ever since! He's very happy.
Conforms perfectly to your feet! Jun 24, 2010 I went out of my way to write this review because of my extremely positive experience with these shoes. I have never had a pair of shoes of any style, including running shoes, that fit so perfectly and can be worn for such a wide variety of activities. I hike every summer in the Cascade Mountains and have not found a better pair of hiking shoes than these. You can run in them. They look great for casual work places. They are sturdy, yet supple. You pay a premium ($90 to $100) but they last forever. They're water-resistant, too, though I would not say they are "water-proof."
They look great, breath fairly well, have great heel support, and are truly conforming to your foot after a few uses. I also have some Keen Newports for biking (with cleats) and I would have to say they are nowhere near the outstanding feel of the Arroyo IIs. The lack of support in the heel makes you feel like you're always leaning back on your feet. But, to stick with the review of the Arroyo II--you will not regret this purchase, guaranteed.
Best in quality, comfort, function Jun 02, 2010 Excellent for its purpose; perfect in comfort; sturdy construction; even better than it looks in photos

Make No Mistake: This Is NO Trailshoe Mar 04, 2010 These shoes are a disappointment. I really wanted to like them but they just don't cut it for any kind of offroad trail walking. They have no grip on damp rocks, let alone wet or mossy ones. The high footbed and vent cutouts leaves you with little ankle support. Also, they don't breath despite all the holes, especially in the toe, which causes sweaty blistery toe rubbing. :-( Overall, the biggest drawback is the awful grip. If you plan on walking anywhere remotely wet please AVOID.
