 Sperry has cheaped out Feb 13, 2010
Not on the shoe, but on the sizing. This shoe in an XW (3E) used to be wide enough for decades--up until about 3 yrs ago. Not anymore. They must've switched factories in an attempt to save money and the result is a shoe that isn't wide enough now. If you have a wide foot beware!
 12.5 B US = 12.5 Narrow Jan 30, 2010
I have long, very narrow feet = size 12.5 + (but less than size 13). Sperry size 13 Medium is not a good fit for me because it is too lose.
Sperry "12.5 B" size is a true 12.5 "Narrow" last. It is the equivalent of the last for US Govt size "12.5 Extra Narrow Jungle Boots, which are the only shoes/boots that have ever fit my feet.
I bought 4 pair of 12.5 B Sperry Top-Sider shoes in Dec 09. I would buy 4 more, if other colors, e.g., black, were available.
Please continue to produce size 12.5 B.

I ordered these for my son who is away at school. They arrived to him promptly and fit perfectly. They are exactly what he wanted for everyday wear. Great transaction. Perfect.

I have worn Top-siders since the 70's. They have always (up until now) been my favorite shoe.
I don't fault Sperry going to China like most shoe company's, but there seamed to be no quality controls with there shoes now. A boat shoe should not bleed dye on your feet for months when they get wet. This is my first pair that the top stitching up by the laces pull out on both shoes. These shoes are great, soft and very comfortable. They go well with pants or jeans. You can wear them during the summer with no-show socks or with socks for colder seasons. They fit correctly. Want to have them in more colors....lol.
